    • GPA in Prerequisite Courses

Point System Breakdown (Maximum: 132 Points)

Admission to the Nursing program is competitive and based on a point system. Applicants with the highest cumulative points are selected for admission.

    • Transfer credits (CR), AP, CLEP, and IB scores are evaluated as equivalent to an “A†grade for the purposes of the point system.
    • However, points are awarded based on the actual letter grade earned in each course, when available.
    • Important Note: Applicants who already hold an AA degree or higher will not automatically receive points for an “A†in a course if that course was part of the degree.
    • Exceptions may apply for courses like ENC1101 or Humanities Core, if they were not included in the previous degree.
    • All other transfer or alternative credits will be evaluated at the discretion of the Nursing Department.
